Invisible infant?

hey, i was wondering if someone could help me with this. My sim was trying to feed her infant (life stage) when she suddenly (and unexpectedly) DIED of laughter. Unfortunately, when she passed, she was still holding her child and when her husband was trying to find the baby, it was looking at an invisible object, and when I was trying to focus the camera on the baby, it wouldn't let me. I was trying to figure out why and trying not to think that the baby passed with his mother. until I pressed on the crib and asked my sim to put them to bed. To my surprise, my sim carried yet another invisible object. I'm still trying to figure out where the baby went, someone care to help me?
