Island living bug
I am seeing a lot more bug in this pass two weeks it's getting worse by the day I have screen shot of the new bug I have found like with in the last couple hours I hope this get fixed soon before it ...
@hellcrasher6969 I just went back into the lot and found that there is an up-side - a workaround. If I deleted all of the grass floor tile that you used on the lot, "Perfect Garden Grass", and left only the terrain paint, the issue was gone. So... if you delete that grass and use terrain paint for grass (paint it on), you should be fine from what I'm seeing:
Regardless of this workaround, though, I think you should make a bug report.
I might know how to fix that roof by extending it up then adding a glass roof to give more light I been seeing people raising the roof then the ceiling can disappear
@hellcrasher6969 I'm not sure what you mean about the roof and ceilings disappearing? Do you have a screenshot? Can you share the lot to the gallery? If you are trying to make a ceiling delete you can highlight the room by clicking a wall, then go up a level while the room is highlighted. You will see a yellow rim on the room. Click the yellow rim and there will be a popup that says “Remove Ceiling”. Click the phrase “Remove Ceiling” and the ceiling will be removed by the game.
You can also remove the ceiling with the sledgehammer tool.
I'm not sure what you are referring to about raising the roof making the ceiling disappear? Could you please clarify or send a screenshot of that issue? Thank you!
Deleting the main roof them I'm going to build a wall like a third floor deleting the floor to the third floor and place a roof that glass so the sun can light it up after I do it I will up load ok
@hellcrasher6969 Hmmm... I also love using glass ceilings of various types to add light. I'm really looking forward to seeing your upload!!
Not sure if these will be of any use for an example, since it seemed you were asking questions about this (sorry if I misunderstood), or if this is quite what you're describing that you want to do, but to me it sometimes helps to take apart an example. With that in mind these are several ways that I experimented with this type of roofing, if dissecting any aspect is of any use:
This one also uses a glass roof for the opening/light, etc. on the top floor:
And this one uses a skylight for the lighting over the pool on the top floor:
And in this one I was trying to replicate a 'kit home' that had a ceiling removed/deleted over almost the whole home, then used windows rather than a glass ceiling or skylight to add lots of natural light to the home:
