Keep getting sent back to worlds

Sometimes when I want to travel (to an event for example) I get sent back to the worlds overview. If I then choose the family I was playing with, I get an endless loop of just being sent back to the worlds page and don’t get sent back to the family.

When I restart the game I end up at choose worlds again. If I choose another family it shows the loading screen but it never actually moves past the loading screen (I’ve waited for at least 10 minutes while my laptop usually takes less than 5 seconds). 

I don’t use mods or cc. I’ve tried repairing the game but nothing works…

    @crinrict Thanks for your answer! I got one error message yesterday after trying for a million times to get loaded into a random family, I included it in this message.

    I checked my documents folder but I don't see any lastExceptions files...

    @juliacolen Do you have any Sims in the detective career ?

    Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

    If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

    @juliacolen Did you travel to the snow festival ? It looks like a matter of a broken onsen lot. I can get your family to load by inviting them to another lot but when trying to load the onsen one, the game has endless laoding.

    This is an older bug that I thought was fixed.

    Do you have any backups from before you travelled ot the lot ?

    I probably did travel to the snow festival yeah... I tried it as well and I can also get my family to load into another lot.

    Is there a way to fix the Onsen lot? Because I searched for another save file but I only found one that's from a super long time ago.. 

    Thanks for getting me back into my family 🙂

    @juliacolen It might work to disable the Snowy Escape pack, then enter the save without the pack install and save the game. Then enable the pack again.

    You will loose all the content you already put on saves as well as lifestyles and stuff so it's not a very desirable solution but the only one I can think of.

    If you want to test it out, try on a backup of your save gam and move everyone you want to keep out of Mt. Komorebi. Premade families will be created again so you won't need to save them unless you played them.
