Latest update destroyed some relationships

I had to sims in my game that were friends with mine (Kaori Nishidake & Kiyoshi Ito). Those two were in love and dated. When I came back in the game after the update they were no longer dating so I tried to make them date again with the interaction in the new relationship panel (i don't know the name in english sry). Then Kaori told me Kiyoshi was already dating someone else... I checked and it was false he wasn't seeing anyone... 

So... their relationship was destroyed with the game update and my sim and Kaori's friend relationship decreased because of the failed interaction ! I had to use cheat codes which is really annoying when there actually are in-games interactions to do the job
