Life and death problems

Hi 

I've had 2 Sims die. The first got stuck as a ghost constantly reacting to becoming a ghost and nothing would snap her out of it. Even moving her to a new lot.

Next I have a SIM and set him to be reborn straight away. Supposed to be taken to the neighbourhood to chose where he will be reborn. Nothing happens. 

Help. So far two of the main features of the new expansion. Both busted. I am playing on a ps5.
