Likes/dislikes says 19/20 activities selected when I chose none

Ok I am getting a new problem. This is actually not happening to one sim I found out. I started picking likes and dislikes for another one of my sims and now says that I chose 13/20 when I chose 8 in total (colors, music, activities). This is happening to all of my sims if I start picking their likes and dislikes. Are the likes and dislikes from all categories supposed to all add up together or are they supposed to be separate? In my game they are all adding up together. For my teen sim, when I unselect something from a different category it turns into 18/20 when I have only 14 selected in total and so on. It is kind of hard to explain this so I'm sorry if it is confusing.

I also saw that there are many activities and skills that exist in-game but are not in the likes and dislikes panel. I don't know if they were just not added yet or they were added and I am not seeing them.
