Loading screen stuck in Sims 4
After the current September 19 update my sims stays on the loading screen and it is not functioning even without mods. Also the new kits are not showing up on steam

when you hit resume to get to your household. It gets stuck there and there is a lot of other people in the sims community experiencing the same issue
- @sdman166 Endless loading has a huge amount of causes so lets try to narrow yours down
1. If you choose load instead of resume, does your game load ?
2. Can you load other households than the one you last played ?
3. If you evict your family from the lot and place them in a different lot, do they load ?
4. Do you get any LastException files in your doc folder ? If so, please copy/past the content. (Delete the ones you have and let the game create new ones, then upload those) No exceptions come up and now my sims allowed me to get to a different house but stayed stucked here. Like it is completely frozen

I was able to fix it by changing the game to dx11
