Lovestruck couples and sleeping

It's not a glitch, but it is irritating. Since Lovestruck came out, and I send two sims to bed simultaneously, one will get up and out of bed. So I have to put them back to bed so they can scootch over and sleep cuddle with their partner. But if one goes to bed and the other comes hours later, they won't slide over, instead, they'll stay on that side of the bed. I find it infuriating.  The sleep cuddling is cute, but why must one sim get out of bed just because they got there at the same time.  I've removed my mods to see if it would stop, and it didn't. I remember in the Sims 2, (yes, I'm that old) it didn't matter who got there first or at the same time, they stayed in bed! Please have this fixed! It's annoying to time my sims bedtime so they won't get up because they got into bed at the same time.
