Moving Sims 4 Harvestables Obtained in Buy Mode

If I place harvestable from buy mode into my house is there a cheat or something that makes a sim go around and collect them so I can quickly and easily put them all into the fridge? I have tone of food items from Leniad's Cupboard like parsnips, blue berries, etc. that I can plant or I can just add multiple of the item from buy mode and place it in my house. I don't really care for gardening and waiting for stuff to grow so I take the easy way out and do not plant them but instead move them to the fridge. Can't treat them like groceries or something and tell sims to go pickup stuff around the house that CAN be picked up? I mean we can do it with books. Is there really no way to do this with moveable items placed from buy mode?
