Multiple Saves and Gameplay Ideas

I’ve always played my game the same without aging and I’d bounce around from family to family. Lately I’ve been watching tons of LP on YouTube and I’d like to 1. Have multiple saves but how many can I have before it affects gameplay? 2. Where can I find gameplay ideas and challenges? Like the rules for challenges and stuff?

@candiecoatediv, that would depend on your computer and what else you have on it. If you have several other games besides the Sims, and you also use it for work or school, you might not have as much space left on it. I don't play other games on the computer I use for The Sims , and I have over 100 saves games for the Sims! 🥳 I would also think if you have more memory and a more powerful computer than I have, you could put quite a bit more on it than I do! 😉
For specific limits, you would have to tell us more info about your computer's specs, etc. (but I wouldn't be the person to answer this since I'm not that tech savvy. 😳 I just answered because I do have experience with a large amount of separate Save Games for TS4! :eahigh_file: )
There are several sites you can go to to find lists of TS4 challenges! One that comes to mind is The Sims Community. I can't give a direct link to that site since they have Mods, but you can Google "the sims community" and it should come up. For more sites and ideas, I would just Google "The Sims 4 Challenges" and you should get several sites to choose from! 😉

@PugLove888 I just updated both the Ram and Harddrive based on recommendations in another post when I was having lag issues. So I have two 8 (something I forgot) cards for memory and upgraded my harddrive to a solid state hard drive and it runs extremely fast. I don’t use my Macbook for anything else except maybe online shopping which is rare is usually do everything on my phone. I have all the pack for 4 except strangerville. I just wasn’t sure if there was any sort of limitation to Saves or a recommended threshold as they have for sim count.
Thank you for the recommendation I’ll check it out. I don’t use but MODS but I also found some links on the forum too.

@candiecoatediv, I'm not that tech savvy, and I don't know the capabilities of a MacBook, but your updates sound like a good idea, (especially since someone else recommended them!) It is also good (in your case) that you don't play with Mods because if you use a lot of them, they also take up space on your computer. (Not to mention you don't have to deal with the headaches of making sure they are all updated after every time EA patches the game! 😃 ) But like I said , I don't have a super gaming computer and I still have more than 100 save games on mine! 🥳 If you want, you can always go back and delete those save games that you hardly play. 😉
Yes, I recommended the Sims Community because I have seen the Sims 4Challenges list they have there! :eahigh_file: ❤️ Glad you found it! 😇
