[MWS] Can't apply different cake toppers

I'm in the middle of a wedding event. I went to add a wedding cake topper. In the past, I would get options for the various cake toppers. I'm not getting any options. It's literally just applying a silver 2 hearts topper with no options to select anything else.

I have no idea when this stopped working. I don't do many wedding events. I really hope this is the only issue I encounter, bc it'll bum me out.

No mods or cc.

    I finally had another sim get married. Yeah, I think it was the wrong event type. It's kind of confusing having more than one wedding event type.

    given your other post, this might be an issue of the wrong event. If you use that wedding topper option you only get one as it's the base game option.

    For the wedding event you pick a cake. Not sure how the whole topper then works as I didn't pick a cake for the wedding I tested.
