My current sim will not go to work (and there's no option to 'go to work')

My current sim will not go to work but however there is no button to 'go to work' or it doesn't say my sim is missing work. In the career tab it will show 'work in 1 hour' but once it hits 8:00am and...

Hey there!

I just had this issue on my PC and spent more than 4 hours troubleshooting. In the end it was the save file that I had downloaded that was "too advanced" (had packs I don't own) and thus blocked any Sim with a new job (not the ones who already had jobs on the save file) from going to work. Had to revert to an old version for the bug to disappear.

    How did you revert to an old version? I have the same bug and I'm also playing the advanced safe file with packs i dont own.
