My current sim will not go to work (and there's no option to 'go to work')

My current sim will not go to work but however there is no button to 'go to work' or it doesn't say my sim is missing work. In the career tab it will show 'work in 1 hour' but once it hits 8:00am and...

I'm having this same issue. I'm using my own save file I've been playing in for over a year. My Sim was going to work just fine. I got to lvl 9 of the park worker career and then suddenly stoped going to work and doesn't have option to go to work. I tried moving him out and moving him back but still doesn't go to work.
