I am having a similar issue - not quite as bad as the original poster. My loading screens were taking longer but I repaied my game and that seemed to help. This has been happening since the update before Adventure Awaits and my sims are dropping actions from their ques regularly, to the point of being very frustrating and also freezing and needing to be reset.
I have the memory boost feature set to automatic, should I disable it?
I opened a new vanilla save to play the Friends Forever Event in and am using this save and household to test the Adventure Awaits. I play on a very good gaming laptop with all packs installed except for the Mudroom Kit and am using direct x11.
