Everytime my sim has an event and I try to travel to the event the whole thing just crashes, she went on a date and was trying to graduate but as soon as the loading screen hits like it’s traveling I automatically get an error code and have to exit my game and recover a save file. There’s nothing wrong with the lots she’s going to, I can travel there on my own but as soon as it’s an event it just doesn’t work.
curiousjoey1 One known cause of the currently very common error 123 is trying to load a lot where an event is happening. Here's the master thread for this error code:
At least some of the time, the lot can be fixed (or fixes itself) once the event ends. I realize that that doesn't help if you want your sims to experience the events, but it seems like there's no good workaround other than skipping them. If the events matter to you, keep an eye on that thread for updates or suggestions.
