Not sure what's going on then.
Since you have them off for all played households, is this the only incident you have of them not working or other NS also taking place for other families ?

Does sounds like something else triggered it but can't think of anything else atm. Guess you can just remove the baby through CAS or go with the flow.
You can try turning the option on and back off again.
Thank you . So far so good , will be checking for next generations of family oriented sims , how it will go .
