My Sims cant build up romance!
Hello dear sims4 team. I haven't played The Sims in a long time and I feel like I've gotten my old great inspiration back lately. I realized that I played sims4 for about 11 hours yesterday and I want to continue this big desire. But I have a problem: my sims cannot establish relationships with each other. I don't know what is the reason for this and I really want it to be fixed, I don't want to quit the Sims, the game of my childhood, because of a tiny problem. In details, My sims can only be friends in their relationships with each other, nothing more. If I need to establish a romantic relationship, I have to provide it with NPCs. If I keep doing this, there will be no NPCs left on the map soon, nor will I be able to continue relations with the NPCs other than i captured whose houses I enter, since they will be considered mine if they are shown in Sims menü and this will cause them not establishing relationships with other Sims of mine. This means that any sim that comes under my control cannot initiate a romantic relationship with my other sims. Only those who have already been in a relation can be continued further. If I am going to establish relationships with NPCs, I not only need to go through many mathematical calculations, but also the number of available lots and NPCs decreases considerably. I want to get rid of this vicious circle and establish healthy relationships. I also tried using cheats and checked every detail that I might be making mistakes such as middle name, testingcheat permission, couples of different ages, last name problem, but relationship cheats are also problematic, just like the problem of not being able to initiate a romantic relationship. I really couldn't understand why. There is only one mode I use and that is homosexuality mode. That mode has nothing to do with this problem since it can already work with NPCs anyway.
In summary, my sim1 cant be in a romatic relationship with either sim2, sim3 or sim4. Instead, sim1 prefers to be in a relationship with an NPC, being only friends with other sims of mine. Please help me.
