Nature’s Calling event can not be completed.

It's the same for me, the collecting rewards doesn't work. I do the task (I'm on Secret Sands), the task is checked off/disappears as normal and the pop-up says to collect my reward, as it should be. But when I go into the event UI there's no new rewards to claim. The points aren't added, so the blue bar is stuck right before reaching the next event reward (the radio song). I've tried with different Sims families and on different save files...

I only have base game and a few kits (romantic garden, blooming rooms, my first pet stuff, holiday celebrations) installed, no mods. Have already tried repairing the game, restarting + logging in and out of the EA app, restarting the gam, restarting my PC.
