@queenofthekings5  This sounds like a Sims thing, but which version are you playing?  I can move this thread to any one of the number of Sims sections we have here.

Sims 4 with all packs

@queenofthekings5  I'm not sure exactly how the money tree works in Sims 4, other than that you need to sell the money fruit by clicking directly on the tree rather than harvesting.  So I moved this thread to the General Discussion section.  Hopefully someone who knows about gardening, and how to troubleshoot gardening issues, will be able to clarify or give you some suggestions for fixing the issue.

@queenofthekings5  Money tree troubles? I do not have them in my current save but have used them in the past.
It this the only plant giving you trouble?
Did you buy the seed using aspiration points?
Are you on the home lot before 5am when plants begin to bear fruit? If you are not the trees and other plants will not bear fruit til the next day.
Are the trees sheltered (under a roof) or unsheltered? This should not make a difference but there have been some slight differences I have noticed after recent patches. I plan on testing in my game to see how long it takes from plant to harvest.
Another question or two to be thorough .... are you on PC/Mac or console?
If PC/Mac do you have any kind of mods or custom content?

Mods and custom content (CC) can be fun to use but unfortunately they cause unexpected results.
They need to be updated by the creators to continue to play nice with the game.
When adding/testing/deleting mods and/or cc it is important to delete the localthumbcache.package and any other cache files.
Testing on a vanilla (no mods/cc) folder is the best way to investigate causes of issues.

It is the only plant I have so I will say yes

Yes I used aspiration points

I am always on my home lot from the night before to the next morning well after 5 am

They are not sheltered and never have been

I am on PC with no CC or mods

Excellent! Thank you for the additional information.
Planted the Money Tree seed (bought with aspiration points) on Sunday 1st day of Summer.
Summer day 6 of 7 (Friday) the tree finally matured. Waiting for it to (hopefully) bloom.

I have good news - the Money Tree is not broken.  Well not so good for your game. After maturing on Friday it was ready to harvest on Saturday.



Even without mods or CC files may need refreshed from time to time.
I recommend to delete the localthumbcache.package and any other cache files and repair your game.
