newborns and infants

Hello all. I was wondering what the difference is between the two. I have noticed that there is no food (bottle or breastfeeding) option on newborns and it seems like the newborns rely on older Sims to automatically feed them. How many days are they newborns? Do they age up like the babies did when they became toddlers?

If someone could explain how to care for the newborns that would sure be helpful. I recently started playing a household that somehow(probably auto generated triplets) ended up with three newborns and taking care of three of them is not easy.

Thanks

  • Newborns represent the first couple of days after birth before they age up to become Infants. I haven't played since the recent update so I'm not quite so sure on how many days they are newborns, but did you check in the age tab option thing?

Thanks for the reply. I have been playing the game for a little bit and I believe the infants time span is roughly the same time as when they were babies and I did find the option to age them up from newborns to infants. I have forgot about the "lessons" within the game menu that has given me some insight on how to take care of an infant.
