No Degree

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)


Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? by attending graduation and afterwards there is no degree in my inventory. Another sim was never prompted to attend graduation and therefore has no picture, no degree, but shows that they have attended the required classes to do so.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim receives graduate picture but no diploma. I’m so frustrated. 
What do you expect to see? I expect to receive both the graduate picture and the diploma.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No. I bought some kits the today but issue persists.

    Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please do a "vanilla" test:  Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

    I'll move you over to Gameplay Issues. Did you use any university cheats at any point?

    The degree isn’t given straightaway after the graduation, but is in the sims inventory later on that day. Did you keep playing your sim for the rest of the day? Also, try checking the household inventory to make sure that it isn’t there.
