No get to work, seasons, or event goals

Question

There is nothing popping up in my left hand corner when I play the game, so I can't see the goals when I go with my sims to work or when there's a holiday. I have repaired my game, I have the mod manager and mod guard that haven't popped with anything conflicting. I have no idea how to get this back please help!!

The only time something is showing up in the corner is when I'm doing a scenario (there is also none of those aspiration goals showing either). Playing on the newest MacBook Air

I play on the newest MacBook Air and ever since the update, I do not get event goals when joining my sim to work or going on dates. I decided to try scenarios, and that is popping up in the left corner but other than that nothing else is. Even when I tried to send my sim to work while doing a scenario. I have the mod manager and mod and don't think it's an issue with any of my CC

Try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

I was hoping to avoid this but thank you. It is definitely a piece of CC. I've spent the last hour or so organizing my mods file. Now I'm just adding back in alphabetically but omg what a tedious process. wish me luck
