Not a single mod working

I have the sims 4 though steam and im unable to use any mods. every single time i try to add them they dont show up at all even though they are up to date. Its been going like this from december. I keep updating my mods and trying them and still nothing works. I have tried the 50/50 method and nothing. I cannot use mccc because every single time i open the game i get mods disabled window and enable mods checkbox is always changing to unclicked but the script one sometimes is still check after restarting the game, i dont know what to do anymore. if anyone knows what to do i would be glad. i should probbably mention that i have put my gmae from c drive to d drive and ea app is still on c drive and from that point it is not working. thank you for any advices
