no high school years events

I do not get any events for high school years since the latest update this week. There is no career day, no prom, no graduation, and no exams on Friday. 

These are not on the calendar and not showing up on the game either. Career day is completely skipped along with prom, and graduation.

If I attend school with my sim on Fridays, they cannot attend their classes.  Instead it says it is time for class and there is no even to do on the check off list.  If I click on the whiteboard to attempt to attend, it simply says "careers." 

Prom has no interactions at all.  It is as if the game has erased it.  I cannot make proposal boards.  I cannot ask anyone to the prom.  There is no notifications telling my sim about prom.  My sim cannot ask about prom.  It is simply not there. 

Something that may be related is that whenever I went to school for the first day, the principal was not there and I didn't get to ask them about school. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. 

I do not have any mods or CC on the sims.  However, I do have several packs and kits and things.  I have almost all of them.
