Pc/laptops that work without Legacy edition.

So I’ve been looking for laptops or Pcs that are $300-$400 so that I didn’t have to use Legacy edition like my current Mac laptop. But I’ve only found a few laptops that I think are good but they are 600-700 and the few that I have seen that are around my amount I Just don’t know if I should get one or not. 1. Acer Aspire 5 2. Acer Nitro 5, but I haven’t looked at any PCs tho.

@snow_dog04  Technically, a computer with 4 GB memory can run the standard version of Sims 4, and I've seen enough such computers running it to say that it can definitely work.  But Origin sometimes tells people they need to download the LE anyway, for whatever reason.  At that point, if RAM really is the only issue, players can usually just repair and switch back to 64-bit in Origin.

A number of apps are still 32-bit, at least in Windows, including Origin itself.  For people that simply want a portable laptop for browsing the internet, listening to music, etc., and maybe a couple light games, it might be completely fine to have a 32-bit OS, although it would certainly have its limitations.
