I am having the same problem and am quite frustrated. My sim also cannot enter the tenants unit. I simply get the wave and "can't get to wherever you're asking me" moodlet bubble above my sims head. even when my sim can enter and navigate when there is not a tenant.
hi @anna3682 - ok i was losing my mind trying to figure this out and clicked this on a whim.
it appears my front "porch" area was considered private and part of the rental vs. a "shared" space, meaning i wasn't allowed to step on the porch to go to the door because the porch was considered by the game as a private, tenant-only space.
i tried to attach a picture and i hope it works this time. i had to click the porch and set it to "shared".
hi @crinrict sorry about the picture not attaching. i was troubleshooting and tinkering around and discovered the game considered the front porch/steps area to be a private room by default and i had to set the porch to a "shared" space to get my landlord to be able to go to the front door. thank you for replying!
