I was excited to get started with the Reaper rewards upon release. However, since it started, the UI has yet to appear for me. Once entering live, really nothing pops up regarding the event to begin starting the quests and unlocking the items. I have waited and waited. I made sure my game was online and I do not have any mods or anything downloaded outside of the usual packs. What can I do to participate in the event?
HelloBeasty The new file will hold data from your progress on the tasks you completed, so that will be erased. It does not hold data for the points you earn from those tasks, or the rewards, both of which are tied to your account. And the tasks' only purpose is to give you ways to earn points that you can use to redeem rewards, so the tasks don't actually matter in the grand scheme of things.
brianajpg Is the Online Social Features setting enabled in Options > Game Options > Other? Please check and enable it if necessary, then restart the game.
If that's not the issue, please move accountDataDB.package out of the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Do not delete it—this file holds the data from the first login event. Instead, keep it elsewhere until you play through this event, if you can get it to start at all, then restore the older file (delete the new one) when you're done.
Will deleting the new file erase the Grim Reaper rewards/progress once replaced with the older file?
