Resume Game causes never ending loading screen

I can sometimes 'load game' and repair the latest one and it will work for awhile. Usually until I travel somewhere (or go to work with a sim). Most recently, I was fixing up a newly purchased rental...

a specific save - I have  2 households and it's happened with both.

Can you test a NPC household as well ?

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

  • Delete the ones you have
  • Trigger the error again
  • Check if new ones are created
  • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

 

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
