Go to the library in the EA App. Click the three dots on the sims 4 select manage add-ons click the download button next to the two kits.

I am trying to do this exact thing on MacBook Pro but it doesn't want to go passed 2% in download no matter what I do (restart the app, clear the caches etc.)
If you haven’t tried doing this, try clearing the Ea App cache and see if that helpsnougatnafnaf I wasn’t sure if that is what you had done when you said that you had cleared the caches.

Thank you but I did that several times.
Perhaps shutting your Mac down, then starting it back up again may help.
