Hello, ive been trying to find rock piles, you dig for crystals/metals, for some reason, they completely stopped appearing, and finding NOTHING!! even if i refresh game, or travel elsewhere, they dont seem to be appearing anymore! you guys, any suggestions to fix/sort out?

I've had this on and off for a while and in some locations it's helping to be there really early. It varies but lately it's been about 2am.
yes, i see this link to peeps also having this problem, but that was in june 2018 it was posted, i randomly have this problem now, july 2024
If there aren't any rock piles, and you haven't collected from them recently, it's usually because the spawn point was used for a dirt patch that pets can dig up. You can also dig up the dirt patches yourself, and there's about a 50/50 chance that you'll get a rock pile the next time it spawns. This also happens to other spawn points, especially the frog spawners.
@Whirlwind5089As a test, you could try visiting Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs at about midnight. If I do that the rocks start spawning around 2am. If I'm any later I miss them until the next day, as I've mentioned on the bug report. But when I'm collecting then that's a workaround and I've just tested it in my game (on Xbox Series X with all packs). If I miss that time then nothing spawns except the occasional dirt patch but no rocks.
It is being investigated at least so hopefully it will be addressed in an upcoming patch.
Edit: if you have MWS and the dig piles in Tartosa for the Message Bottles are also not spawning, this one has been changeable for me but currently if I stay or live in that area they will eventually return. It's not like the dig piles where I just get there at midnight and wait. It's a frustrating one!
