Save Error 21

Hi, I play sims 4 on pc. I have been getting the error code 21 for the past couple of 2-3 weeks now and it started before the update. I have tried taking out my mods folder, doing the antivirus suggestions, the windows defender fire wall, repairing my game, unintalling and reinstalling. I have LITERALLY tried everything. This is ridiculous. This needs to be fixed and I can see that others are having the same issue as me. 3/27/26 I have updated my game and still cant save my game.

PLEASE help me fix this!

I just transferred all my old save files and trays into the new one. That didn’t corrupt the game and it’s working.

Hi! I am currently having this issue and have been trying this, but when I try to rename the old sims 4 folder to be sims 4 backup, it says the game is already running even though its not when I try to launch it. I checked task manager too and its not open, do you know how I can fix that?
