save file not loading

i updated my game yesterday and played all day, just got off of work and opened sims up and it needed another update. now since i’ve done that, i cannot open the save file i was playing, it gets stuc...

it’s working now, i ended up going into my save file folder, making a copy and opening up that save instead and somehow it opened

how did you remove your mods ? Did you delete cache files and physically remove the folder ?

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

Delete the ones you have
Trigger the error again
Check if new ones are created
If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
