Scenario ideas
So some of us like to have some guided gameplay. And I have a theory that much like the wants and needs (formerly whims) that we the players can use a similar concept to make our own scenarios. Because I wanted to spice up a few of the older scenarios by making them more like the storyline scenarios, adding smaller goals in between on my way to the ending goal. Whether that be raise a specific skill to a specific level or visit a particular location such as a library or gym. We have the ability to have guided tasks from the other scenarios, we have clubs that you can have specific criteria. What if the players were given a list of tasks and then one major accomplishment (such as 1 mil simoleons) and the AI just suggests a few additional "side quests objectives" (like whims but more like "raise your cooking skill to level 6 and upgrade your kitchen appliances") to suggest ways to shape your gameplay and give you ideas on what to do next. The reason I suggest this is because if I was left to maintain track of my own goals I would become overwhelmed or bored because all I know is that I have to make 1 mil and it doesn't say that I have to complete such and such as an optional side quest. To have the option to have the game a little more guided as it was in the original "get a life" scenario from OG Sims. But the players can drive the game and say this is what I want to accomplish at the end of this play through and these are the major steps I have to follow to get there, now AI please give me 1-2 optional ideas while I'm playing, if it strikes me I'll do that, but if it doesn't then I could refresh the task or just ignore it, due to the fact the AI is just suggesting optional ideas for the players to use in their game that fits along with their goal.
