Sim can’t come back to life?

Got the new life and death expansion. Got the chased by death on my sim and she died. Wanted to play her as a ghost so I maxed out her ghost powers and made her life fulfilled. I don’t wanna start her life over so I don’t want to rebirth. Went through everything needed to make Ambrosia. Made the ambrosia and there isn’t an option for her to eat it! I’ve tried repairing the game, I’ve even tried to edit her in cas to see if I could bring her back to life. I don’t really wanna make my other sim become a spell caster just to bring her back! Why isn’t the Ambrosia working anymore? Anyone else having this problem? I don’t have mods

    I wish I could answer your question. I haven't yet engaged with the new pack. However, I must ask you one thing. When you said your Sim was chased by death, did she get a popup from another Sim suggesting that Sim had a dream about your Sim and that death was chasing your Sim? Because now I'm really scared. My young Rock Star had such occur. Yikes.

      I started with the trait from cas. However you can get a pop up about the dream and you can reply as scared. That happened on another save file I have. After saying I was scared it asked if I wanted the chased by death trait

        Phew! Thanks for the information. Erik was unconcerned. I'm guessing he may be safe, as a result? I do hope so. I have enough problems with my game right now, just getting it to play the sound correctly. Losing Erik might just put me over the edge. . .  LOL
