Sim acts like the bed is in the way to leave the room, however they have plenty of room to get through and nothing blocking them. Was fine before this patch.Anytime my sim tries to leave the room after getting out of bed, the sim acts as if something is blocking her way when clearly she has enough room to get through. I have to click around the bed and then outside of the room just to get her out. I have updated all my mods and checked my CC, and still have this issue. (i have not added anything new to my mods/cc folders since discovering this issue)

@alliicat Did you also check without mods/cc installed ?

@alliicat Rugs don't generally cause that type of route failure. I have had it happen in my game from time to time so I know how frustrating it can be. The only other thing I can suggest is to rearrange the room so the route to and from the bed gets changed. That seems to clear it up most times.

I had tried that but still didn't seemed to work. My save file could have just been glitched out as well causing that to happen since when I attempted to save it had an error

@alliicat OK, if you tried to rearrange the room and that didn't work then did you try changing the room's size like moving the walls to make the room bigger? Assuming you have room to do that of course. Did you try reversing the door?And this may sound weird but did you look to see if there was anything under the rug? It would have to be flat of course and those types of things sims will usually step over and not see as an obstacle but you never know. Worth a look anyway.Worst case is you could try deleting the entire room and rebuilding it and refurnishing it. I've done that a time or two when I couldn't figure out a route failure.That about exhausts my ideas on this one though. Sorry, I've about run out of ideas that might be more helpful.

Not yet but I will next time I open the game. As I said though I never had the issue before the last update and I had updated all mods for the latest patch to avoid any conflict.

@alliicat Have you placed anything in the room with the MOO cheat? I have found that sometimes, even though the path appears clear visually, the game "sees" an obstacle in a sims path if it was placed and/or rotated with MOO on. You can tell quickly by going to build mode and looking to see if the green base of an object which is normally invisible in live mode protrudes into another tile that is in the sim's path because of the rotation. If it does, that is probably what is causing your problem. Oh, and the object doesn't have to be on the floor either so you might want to check the room with walls up to see if a shelf or something wall mounted is causing it or even something on a piece of furniture.

I did but it was a rug however when the issue popped up I deleted the rug and still couldn't get around. I had found taking away the dresser it worked but I don't understand the issue because they got to the bed fine but can't go back the same way fine? They clearly had enough space between the dresser and bed and walls so I'm confused lol

Do you just have issues in this house or generally ?

No I have used the house before and had a everything in that room before that is now and had no issues.

Since then I had to just delete my save file completely for this household since it would not save at all. However I will try it again with another household and see if the same problem occurs, since I have used the house before and was able to have everything in there with no issues; therefore it may have just been my game
