Sim w/ Action Standing Still(Not doing anything)

Every time I choose an action for my sim to complete, they stand in front of the object and do absolutely nothing. I try to fast forward and nothing happens. Ever since the update to fix the crashing...

@sikknatt You can try to pause your game when this happens instead of fast forwarding. The time may be off and you need to pause to let everything "catch up." You may see thought bubbles changing behind the sims. Once that happens you can un-pause and see if it helps with the interaction.

OP already said that pausing and waiting is the only way it works. I have the same issue, I have to pause, but this isn't a solution because I have to pause on everything my sim needs to do, some days it's unplayable
