Sim won't go to class in University

I just got University and haven't been to a single class in three different saves. Living on campus or not, after debugging sim (right clicking on them and selecting desert sim), repairing game in EA, nothing is working. I have (never) had mods. At first in one of the saves my sim was "going to class early" but she would get to the building and just stand there and miss class. There is also no popup that asks if I want to attend or skip or anything, the little suitcase just blinks indicating I'm late. My sim now doesn't even try to attend early and never makes it to the building. They bring out their homework book and just stand there.

    I have the same issue, but my sim's roommate goes to class as expected.  She made it to...I think one class as normal, and has never been to another since.  Upon clicking the "Go To Class" button, she takes her homework in hand, stands there for a moment, and then returns to a normal standing pose.  The action never even appears in her queue.
