Sims 4 Lag after hour of play and menu lag

I don't know if I'm the only one having this problem or not. My game lags after about an hour of play then I have to relaunch to get it back to normal. In game menus lag excessively once it starts. The calendar, relationship panel, etc. I didn't have this issue until several updates ago.
