Sims 4 should have more consequences and drama

In the Sims 4, many players noticed in the game that there are not many consequences as in the previous games even though it should have been the case. No hate but now with Sims 4, it feels too save, too child friendly, less risks and less realistic. Small details matter too!!! There should be more drama in the Sims 4 (honestly i don't like drama, but that's life) as well for example : - A reputation status should be in the game, because that will have influence on the sims whenever it's good or bad. - When a sim is in a romantic relationship and cheats on him/her, shows affection for the other sim in public too often, other sims might notice it like Sims 3 and will gossip about it. The player or another sim that have seen the sim being unfaithful has the option to tell the sim who got cheated on to tell the truth and the sim who got cheated on will accuse the partner of being unfaithful. Or when the children gets involved. For example when a child or teen sees one of the parents kissing another sim they get upset, maybe running to his/her room and will cry or get angry with them and their relationship between the parent gets lower. Teens will do the same but maybe they can call the cheating parent out and if their relationship is really bad, teens can run away from home like Sims 2, i was thinking, maybe it would be a nice small detail to put in the game if the child or teen witnessed the cheating and cry, that the older siblings can comfort each other. Friends and family members could also get affected by it if the cheating sim is friends with them and they will get upset with him/her. - Friendships, when a sim is best friends or bff with another sim, the sim can also have more than 1 best friends. If a sim finds out that his/her best friend is gossiping badly about him/her too often or make up a rumor about the specific sim, then the sim gets the backstabbed moodle,is angry and upset and their relationship goes low. i don't have many idea's, but if you have one, share your thoughts about it!!!

Plus in the Sims 4, teens, young adults, adults and elders can't make out while standing or lying on the bed but can make out on the couch which is weird and that should be in the game!

  • @ChakaiB Oddly in my game there is a lot of drama. While it's not quite as specific as one Sim gets angry at the rumor another Sim started, I have relentless drama due to flirting and mischief that my npcs start

For me, the NAPS "infected" my sims and npcs. Rough house.. they fight. Free love and the flirting was out of control. I disabled and repealed my NAPS but my npcs didn't get the message

Clement Frost is a total flirt who likes to hit on my sims during winterfest
ALL of my sims have randomly negative relationships
MOST of my sims have cheated on their spouse while I wasn't adding
I get negative reputations, slaps, jealousy, sadness and plenty of negative sentiments when I'm not the active household. The sort of "glitch" I have works itself into drama via the npcs and played households when I'm not around.

I have received calls that someone despises my Sim and that makes the calling Sim think twice about them. So they are talking trash if the the relationship is bad enough. Diego Lobo nearly destroyed the reputation of my female political Sim after I can back to her household and they hated each other... why? I have no idea it all happens when I'm not active as that household. Then Diego started flirting and they had a hot cold relationship status but she's married which caused a brawl when she kissed her husband at the gym.

Mine is kinda loaded but I totally get that there could be more consequences. I especially think that should be the case for negative traits. My mean, evil, erratic Sim is actually quite enjoyable and just talks to herself most of the time.
  • @ChakaiB it is and it only happened in one load and left the other loads alone (I have 3 loads)

This load, with the drama, is almost all played in San Myshuno. I have 15 households in the city. Even without the npcs creating excessive drama the city does provide an element of drama with noisy neighbors and the quicker access of festival events being right outside. If you live in the spice district you can go to the festival without a screen load. So this creates a lot of opportunity for sims to "collide" into each other regardless of the household I'm playing as. I play in rotation. I'll say that city living does add an air of drama or activity other worlds don't have. Maybe try a few households there and see if you like it 😉

They should implement a drama slider.  😉

On a scale of 1 ("Please keep my perfect happy families perfect at all time") to 5 ("Random infidelity and fistfights are hilarious, BRING IT ON!"), how much drama do you want in your game?  😉
