Sims Being Mean to Each Other For No Reason?

Hello.  My sim keeps autonomously using mean interactions on other sims and vise versa. It's very frustrating. It's not just on sims they have a bad relationship with. It's with friends, family, etc. Is it a glitch from the newest patch/update? Or is it something else? It's been happening in my game for a while now.
