I have a similar issue except I can’t drag food items into the fridge. I’ve tried deleting the fridge and buying a new one but it still doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s because I have simple living lot trait on or if it’s the lot that I’m staying in

@JadedJordan As far as I'm aware the 'Simple Living' trait should not effect your ability to drag 'allowed' items into the refrigerator. (Not all items can be added to a refrigerator.) Can I clarify and share few thoughts and questions?
- Do you have Mods/CC and if you do have you tried testing with them removed to see if the issue remains? (Directions in spoiler tag):SpoilerTry moving the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can test without saving in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue, then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue.
- Is this a lot you made, one from the gallery, or one that Maxis made (that came with the game/pack/library?
- Have you placed debug items on the lot, have you enlarged items (with the ] bracket), or used MOO (Move Objects On cheat) to place items on the lot?
- Do you still have the issue if you place the refrigerator in the middle of the room or in the yard, with no items around it for several tiles, placing it where it snaps to with MOO off and without using alt-placement adjustments?
- Where are the items located that you're trying to add to the refrigerator? (In the Sim's personal inventory, on the ground, in a storage container, etc.)
- Do you still have the issue if you drag the food item to the ground, then try to add it to the refrigerator from there?
- Is this happening on all lots or just this lot?
If nothing above is the issue, can you share a screenshot of the issue?
