Sims not jumping into ocean from decks/stilted houses

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if i just don't know how to do it.
They showed on the live stream that sims could jump from a deck/dock (stilted foundation) over the water right into the ocean in Island Living.
Mine wont do it, they always walk around the beach to get into the water and there isn't a jump in option or anything. I even tried lowering the foundation so it was right on the water, just in case it was too high.
I thought they could get in and out of the water right from the decks that extended into the ocean. Am i doing something wrong or is this not working? I was excited about this feature ☹️
I've tried on all of the pre-built houses in solani - no luck
You need those ladders that come with the pack. Did you add those ?
Do you have the interaction but it doesn't work ?
If you have it but they don't work, try removing your mods/cc and test if it works then.
