Sims Urn Won’t Appear

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? 1.60.54.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim drown in a pool.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim dies, but the urn never appears. The reaper does, but not the urn.
What do you expect to see? An urn next to the pool or in someone’s inventory?
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I really hope I can get and urn for my sim because I like to have a designated space for graves bc I’m trying to have generations on sims and I want to look back at the sims through the urns and the sim that died for me was one of my sims son. He was only half through his kid years almost to teen so I’m fairly sad he passed.

    @SkittleNinja77  Is the drowning in the pool the only place this happens or does it happen for other types of death?  

    I had a problem for months with Grimm stopping at the point just before he jumps up and swings his scythe, the body disappears and the urn gets generated.  But it happened every time for every kind of death, not just for the one type you have mentioned.  The only way a sim would die was by drowning while swimming in Sulani and Brichester which uses a different animation and generates a slightly different urn.  Because you can't save when it happens halfway through the animation, the only thing you can do is quit to the Main Menu and reload.  Bottom line, sims couldn't die in my game.  I did finally manage to get it fixed in the end just recently.  My game is different since I have all the packs.  But from what you describe, it may be the same thing or at least similar to what I had going on.  

    I tried a lot of different things to fix it.  In some cases, I did some things multiple times like repairing the game, deleting the "localthumbcache.package" file in the main Sims 4 folder, starting multiple new games and so on.

    If what I have described matches what is going on in your game, please respond and I will try to help you fix it.
