Sims won’t do any romance interaction and Won’t age up properly

I have been having this issue for a while now my sims won’t interact romantically with their partner it cancels the interaction immediately they can’t wohoo or anything. This only occurs once they age up from teen to a young adult as teens they are able to be romantic with one another but once they age up they can’t anymore. I’m also have another problem with aging up my teen to a young adult the traits option won’t appear at all and the parenthood traits I unlocked won’t appear once they become young adult. This has been a consistent problem I even tried to make a new save but it keeps happening. What do I do?
