Sims Won't Sleep

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to make your Sim sleep -- either in a bed or a park bench.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I tried to make my Sims sleep or take a nap on a park bench, she immediately woke up. This happened in multiple saves.
What do you expect to see? Her to stay in bed and nap, or to sleep until her energy bar is full.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
More often than not, when I try to have my Sims sleep -- either on their own property or on a park bench somewhere, they immediately wake up and get out of bed. I've tried leaving the lot and coming back, I've tried getting them a new bed (which was not great for my Sim considering I am running a Rags to Riches challenge 😂).
