Social Events Not Working

When I start a social event the list of goals will not show or let me complete them. When the event times our it goes to zero but you have to manually cancel the event and receive no medals or prizes. This is not letting me finish my last mission "Fruits of your Labor"

I have reset, reinstalled the game 3xs and still won't work.
