Star Wars Aspiration "Good vs Evil": Obtain a droid quest will not clear

Dear EA

I'm experiencing an issue with the Star Wars Aspiration "Good vs Evil" (Resistance route). I currently got an aspiration quest to get a droid companion (see screenshot), problem is I already have one. Normally, if you have achieved something before you are given the quest (for example a skill or have a child), the quest will clear automatically. But that has not happened.

I have looked online for answers and found others with the same issue, but no one seems to have found a solution for this. I contacted EA support and they asked me to report it as a bug.

I hope you will look into this. Thank you in advance.

    @zubiila It depends on the quest if they fulfill if you already have something. There are quite a few where it requires you to do it after you got the aspiration.

    The question is to obtain one which I would interpret as you need to get another. If it said: Have one it sounds more like something you could do with an existing one.

    Does it fulfill if you buy a new one ?

    Hi Crin

    When I bought a new droid, my other droid disappeared and the new droid I bought was no where to be found. It did check of the quest though, but I'd rather have my droid.

    I eventually found a cheat code for clearing the quest, so I am no longer stuck, but it would have been nice to solve it without using a cheat code.

    If anyone finds themselves in a similar situation the code is: aspiration.complete_current_milestone

    @zubiila That sounds like an issue that you didn't get the droids but I do think the aspiration itself is working as it should. You need to buy one after you got the aspiration.
