Story Progression In The Sims 4

I hate how after the first generation every world becomes a ghost town, if we had story progression it would solve this issue. Yes, some players say just download mods for that, but what about for those who cannot like console players? I like to concentrate on one household at a time so I hate how I have to stop playing my household just to make townies get married and have children to avoid empty neighborhoods, I wish they did all that on their own so I can concentrate fully on my household. I miss this feature from previous games and if it made a comeback I would never get bored of sims 4 again, it would be nice if there was an option to turn off story progression for players that enjoy full control. I hope one day story progression does get added to the sims 4.
