So I've got more annoyances with the story progression update. I thought this was only for non-active sims. Turns out sims from the active household can get in on it too. My question is... WHY?
Multiple times, when half of my household is out somewhere, I have gotten phonecalls from other members of the household asking me if they should marry their bf or change their job. Usually when I get these calls in general, I either decline them or skip reading the entire scenario and just click the option which triggers the asking sim to do whatever they asking about, e.g "Should I change my job?" I click the option that makes them change their job without reading the scenario. This caused a huge issue for me when my sim Hazel was at work being a doctor and she received a call from her housemate Salvatore, asking if he should change his career. Since I'm so used to blindly clicking on these messages, I clicked the option which automatically makes the sim change their job.... I immediately got a notif that Salvatore quit his job as a School Admin (high level education) and had joined the athletic career as a waterperson. That's when I realised who called Hazel.
Salvatore is MY SIM. I have full control over him. Why am I getting story progression from played sim? Even Active household sims??!!

Some calls are still don’t have the right filter. I recommende just ignore calls from your own household.
I bet that the complete story progression will release full of bugs and won’t filter (inactive) played households. It would fit in the pattern (no playtesting or only playtested with toddler from age 3)
