Strangerville 2021 Story toggle

I'm aware of some mods and TMEXs cheats to fix the story mode. but many of these mods are becoming dated and recently TMEXs mod and cheat are becoming obsolete. Can anyone point towards a mod or cheat that still works and doesn't mess with the game too much? The sims 4 tends to break for random reasons from simple mods and I just want something that'll work without glitching out the most basic of commands.
